A YOUNG MAN’S ESCAPE. FALLS ASLEEP ON RAILWAY LINE. DUNEDIN, Oct. 21. Thomas Treloar, aged 19, a resident of Sawyers Bay, htad a narrow escape from death at the mouth of the Blanket Bay tunnel yesterday. Ho had been to a dance at Ravensbourne, and when returning home fell Asleep by the railway lino. The early morning train from Dunedin to Palmerston, though strongly braked on sighting him, struck him, inflicting broken ribs and a bruised side.
