N.S.W. FLOODS
POSITION AT FORBES EASIER. SYDNEY, June 26. In the Hawkosbury district much damage is being caused by landslides as the. waters rapidly recede. Creeks at the back of Mittagong are runnirg bankers and traffic is interrupted. A n-ar. who was washed off his horse while crossing Kangaroo River was drowned. The position at Forbes is easier. The water is now concentrating into an enormous volume on its way through the Jemalong district -where the hilly country prevents its spread. The land is deeply submerged. It is expected that the flood will reach Condobolin early next week. It is still raining.
