FORBUR.Y PARK MEETING. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, May 8. The first day of the Forbury Park trots was held in fine but cold weather. The totalisator handled £22,365, compared with £23,934 for the first day last year. Results:— 1 Bayfield Handicap.—Money Spider (Grant) 1, Wood Lass 2, Master Peter 3. Ten lengths; three lengths. Time, 4.18 3-5. Lady Evelyn finished third, but was disqualified for galloping. ' Domain Handicap.—Talero (Hooper) Y. llarewood 2, Pessimist 3. Length; 20 lengths. Time, 5.1. innovation Handicap.—Bon Sonty (Annett) 1, Merry Bingen 2, Major Domo 3. Two lengths; length and ahalf. Time, 4.59. Prince of Wales’ Handicap.—Logan Chief (Kennerley) I, Ahuriri 2, Man-o ’- War 3. Also: Brutus, Locanda Mac, Locanda Dillon. Logan Chief won very easily from Ahuriri, by two lengths, with Man-o’-War a length away third, followed by Brutus. Time, 4.47 3-5. Beach Handicap.—Haere Ra (Beattie) 1, Kelpie 2, Rollicking Bells 3.
