BUILDING I-OR SALE Attention is drawn to the advertisement calling for tenders for the purchase (for removal) of the Union Boat Club’s shed on Taupo Quay. The shed is 50ft x 50ft, with a lot of totara joists and sleepers, while the top floor is heart matai. There is 2000 ft of matchlining, and a lot of corrugated iron, and altogether it would make a good storage shed for anyone requiring such a building. John Coull gives particulars in our auction columns of this issue, of Dr. Monk’s sale, which is to take place at his residence, Liverpool Street, opposite College playing grounds, to-day (Thursday), beginning at half-past one. Some of the main articles to be sold are: a Greene 2 cyl. lawn roller, a line of good laying fowls, a good collection of garden and carpenter’s tools of every description, a small fire proof safe, a genuine old English mahogany duchess pair, other mahogany, oak and rimu furniture. T 1 ore is a good chesterfield and four easy chairs included in the catalogue. These goods will be on view from 9 a.m. this morning.
