FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE
SPREADING IN THE STATES Received March 26, 10.5 p.m. SAN FRANCISCO, March 26. The hoof and mouth epidemic is increasing. Officials, who believed at first they would be able to confine the disease to two or three countries where it initially evidenced itself, now admit failure. Stricter regulations arc being enforced in an attempt to delimit the pest.
