MR MAILMAN’S SALE. 124 HEADS ROAD, GONVILLE. John Coull gives particulars in onr auction columns of Mr Mailman’s sale which is to take place at his residence, 124 Heads Road, Gonville, at 1.3 0 p.m. The catalogue includes a first class Amerinola gramophone and 25 good records, buffett oak sideboard, oak gateleg table, 16£ yards brand new lino and felt best quality 4 piece oak bedroom suite, new dark rimu single wooden bed, pictures, dressing table, good kitchen table, glassware, corrugated iron, 16 mixed fowls, 6 red and 2 blue chequer pigeons, tools and many other useful lines. The catalogue also includes a good Jersey heifer and good light horse. Mr Mailman’s furniture is all quite new as it is only recently that he set up a home in Wanganui again.
In this issue Williams and Harper, Ltd., are advertising tor sale by public auction on Thursday next, 20th July, on account of Mrs W. Kinnard, Nukumaru, the whole ot her dairy herd, consisting of 50 cows (Shorthorn, and Jersey strain), also other stock, fowls, ducks, 4-cow releaser, etc. As the vendor’s lease has expired, the sale is a genuine one, and everything is for absolute sale. Light luncheon will be provided and the saJe starts at noon.
