RETURNED SOLDIERS TO ENGAGE COUNSEL.

WELLINGTON, January 23
Several of the Returned Soldiers' Associations have urged the Wellington sub-committee of the Dominion Executive to engage counsel on behalf of Lieutenant Cramptoa, who is to appear before a court-martial on 29th of January to answer charges in conriection with the treatment of "conscientious .. objectors" at the Wanganui Detention Barracks. Lieutenant Crampton had aptive service with the Main Body. The sub-com-mittee has decided to engage counsel.
