A CLERK IN TROUBLE.
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, August 16. At the Police Court, John Ledez. flged 22, a clerk in the City Traffic Inspectors' Department, pleaded guilty to a charge that he received the sum of £40 12s 7d on behalf of the City Council, and failed to account for same. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence, bail being allowed in one surety of £75.
