WASHINGTON, August 13. The Navy Department has announced that the American tanker Campana has been cui_k by a U-boat about eight miles off Isle Dieu, on the French coast. Ffity-seven survivors have landed. It is believed the tanker's captain and four gunners were imprisoned in the U-boat, and it is feared they will suffer a fate similar to Captain Fryatt.
