SALE OF TICKETS CLOSES TO-BAY
/ The sale of tickets focally in the bioart union (1000 sheep for Is.) closes at •6 o'clock this evening. This afternoon a man will walk up and down the Avenue; and to anyone whom h,e may accost who is able to produce a ticket m the art union he will present half a sovereign. It is particularly requested that all books and butts he returned without delay to the lion. sec. of the local sub-centre of the N.Z. Branch ot the British Red Cross Association (Mrs. Suisted). The depot (above J. Forbes's) will be open all day to-day for the sale of tickets and the receipt of butts and ticket money. _ Those who gave bids for the patriotic pig are also requested to kindly send in the amounts promised at their earliest convenience.
