AUCKLAND. November 28. At the Supreme Court. James Shaldrck, secretary of the Onehunga Lodge, , AO.F.. was charged with embezzlft^ ! sums totalling £103. After ieariijl / tie evidence, Mr Justice Stringer said that there was no evidence that accused had applied the money to M* own usas while the discrepancies might be due to a loose system of book-keer>- ? ng- By. his Honor's direction tne jury returned a verdict of not guilty, and accused was discharged.
