fPer Press Association.) CHRTSTOHURCM, Aiiril 28. The Hon. R. Heaton Rhodes, acting Minister of Education, opened the Gould Trainiii*? Hostel at Opaka this afternoon. The institution, which is the first of its kind in New Zealand, find is the first erected in Australasia for the purpose of giving training in ■domestic science, is an off-shoot of the Christchurch Technical College and also of thy School of Domestic Instruction.
