The House of Commons has completed in committee forty-eight Clauses of the Home Rule Bill, guillotining the last six. They discuss the new clauses and schedules to>-diay. The Right Hon. .Herbert Samuel's amendment was1 carried tranjsferrinig the Irish post offiice to Britain in times of nationiai emea'gency. The Opposition shtarply icriticased Sir Rufus Isaac's alteration of the time of meeting of the Irish Parliament.
Mr Bonar Law said the Government were contemplating a. generial election, after the Bill had paissed, and (before it would come into operation. . This w,as a wicked p'rooeedingj and cerfeidn to result in disoirders.
The Riglit' Hop. H. H. 'Aequith denied that the Government bald an ulterior object.
