OTTAWA, Doc. 13. (Sir Wilfrid Laurier welcomed the proposition to take the navy question out of politics. It was now too late, however, as'the Ooaiserva'taves insisted =.> on making it a j>arty question. Sir Wilfrid Llaurier alleged that at ftihe lost1 election on -hundreds of 'platforms in Quebec the question "W&fc dio we owe to^England ?" was answered by shouts of "'Nothing." An Opposition speaker vigorously demied Sir Wilfrid Laurier's statement.
