CHAMPION BUTTER FAT COMPETITION.

i Tho competition was initiated at the I show of 1906. and with tho exception lof 1910, it has been held without a I break ever since, the respective winners being:— 1906—W. P. Harre. 1907 —A. Buchanan. 1908— E. Griffiths. 1909—W. I. Lovelock. 1911—W. I. Lovelock. This year A. Harrowfi-eM (Boundary Road) secured a first with his Jeri sey "Brindle," W. I. Lovelock's (Friesland Park), being second with his Hol- ■ stein cow.
