A meeting of the Hawera branch of the Engine Drivers', Firemen's, and Cleaners' Association unanimously passed a motion, condemning the hostile attitude of the president and executive of tho Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants towards the aims of the Engine Drivers'. Firemen's, and Cleaners' Association.

The members pleogcd themselves tr> in every way support their own Council, already representing over 70 per cent, of the locomotive staff, as the only association calculated to further their interest, and as the only one in which they have any confidence.
