MARTON, September 7. A burglar was discovered in Lum Kee's fruit shop early on Sunday morning. "When disturbed he was taking somo dates. He got away1 with 6s only.

The Railway Hotel and Kirk's tobacconist shop, at the Junction, were also visited. Nothing is missing from the hotel, but tobacco, several watches, and sundries were taken from Kirk's. The police are investigating.
