LARGE TENDERS I#S%TED;

WELLINGTON, September 7. Department of Industries and Commerce has received, through its Sydney agency, particulars of tenders invited for the supply of potatoes and onions to the American army stationed at the Philippines. It is estimated that 600,0001bs of potatoes and 120,0001b3 of onions will be required each month. Tenders, which have to be rendered in duplicate, close at Manila, Phillippino Islands, at 11 a.m. on 17th instant.
