HALF-YEARLY MEETING
The half-yearly meeting of the abora' was held last evening, when the Her. Jacob presided over about 30 members. The minutes of the previous general meeting were confirmed, after which the report for the last, six months (which has already appeared in this paper) waa read and adopted. The financial state- ! merit showed a credit balance of £10 19a. : Resignations were received from Messrs A. Dunkley (secretary), Newoombe, and Stevenson (executive). These vacancies were filled by Mr GK Williams being selected secretary, and. Messrs A. Dunkley, A. A. Gower, arid F. Jones being elected to act on the committee. ' Mr A. Dunkley was elected a life member in appreciation of past Bervices. The meeting terminated with the j usual courtesy to the chair.
