ST. PAUL'S HALL.

GRAND CONCERT TO-NIGHT

We give a final reminder of the concert to bo given in St. Paul's Hall this evening, under the direction of Mr. Arthur Towsey. As will be seen by a perusal of the advertisement appearing in another column, the programme prepared is a splendid one. The majority of the items "to ba rendered are classical, while the more popular items are of a high order. The programme will open with a pianoforte duet by Messrs. Towsey and E. Randal. This item alone is worth going to hear. Miss McFadyen will sing "Down the Vale" and Tell Me, My Heart," and in addition will play a violin solo. Miss Redstone, who has not yet appeared on a concert platform in Wanganui, but who is said to be the possessor of a very fine voice, will sing "O Dry Those Tears" and "Love the Pedlar." Miss Byres, ever a favourite, will sing "Thou Art My Life" and "Esmeralda." Mr. W. Ferguson will sing "The Romany Lass," and Mr. W> J. Reed will give "The Deathless Army." Mr. J. G. Swan has kindly consented to give two of his inimitable recitations, while Mr. James Airken will give a selected reading., A very large number of tickets have ofeen sold, and we would advise intending •patrons to make an early visit. Admission is ono shilling.
