WELLINGTON WOOL AND SKIN SALES.
WELLINGTON, May 11. Messrs Levin and Co., Limiied, report a.-i follows : —
We offered 15 bales of wool and a small catalogue of skins to-day. Advice from London reporting a further fall in wool led us to expect a fall in prices here, but owing probably to tho small sirpplies available, prices were maintained at their recent level. Crutchings should now be coming forward. We would suggest to growers to send forward any that may be ready before the heavy supplies are to hand. W9 quote; — Skins.-— Full-wool crossbreds, 5d to sjd ; medium crossbreds, 4__d to 5d ; dead skins, 3d to 4d ; pelts, 4d to 2s.
