; Foundation tohb of New BuiroiHG. —In returning thanks for tho honour conferred upon him, Mr Parsons said the intention was to invite His Eicollonoy the Governor to lay ths foundation ptono of tho now building übout tho end of February, and, failing him, tho Fromier would bo asked. The idea was to mako tho ocoaaion us imposing as pomble, and members of local bodies would bo invited to participate. Mr A. Simpson said that in the combo of conversation with tho Premier yesterday the Hon. Mr Soddon bad expressed himself as being very pleased to a:cept an invitation to be present if it was bo desired, nnd the probabilities were that ha would bring some of his colleagues with him. Medical Bepoht. -Tho medical report was read, showing that during the past month seven cases of accident bad boen ad- _^^ mitted to the Hospital. One death had oocurrod, tho patient being in a moribund state when admitted. Tbicdebs toe Supplies. — Tenders for supplies for the ensuing twelve months woro accoptod as follows :— Drugs, Williameon; washing, Mrs Gotigb ; funerals, Low } cab hire, Smiley. — _ Accounts.— Accounts amounting to £114 7a 2d woro passod for payment for Hospital maintenance. Bolfital Acc;uht.— The bink book slowed a credit balance on general account of £1459 la 7d, and on deposit £2300. AHCiriTSOi-'s Fbbs —Mr A. Atkins' aocount, amounting lo £200 17s 6d, was passed for paymsnt. Cibbk ov Works.— lt wob resolved that tho mattor of this appointment bo referred (0 Mr Atkion, his recommendation to be brought up at next meeting, to be held on Oh January.
