* . aUIUMN MEETING OF THE WANDERERS' CLUB. [Per Pre3s Association.] Napier, March 31. At the annual meeting of the Wanderers' Bicycle Club sports to-day on the Napier Recreation Ground there was a large attendance of spectators. The weather was fir.c, the race 3 well contested, and good times were made in , most of them. In th 9 Teams' Race the ) distance was only four miles and threequarters instead of five, owing to wi error in taking the lap 3. The following are the results ; — One Mile Maiden Handicap, for Roadster Machines. H. C. Brandon, 90yds 1 F. Fraser, 20yds 2 J. Ogilvie, 10yds 8 Time, 2min 47sec. 100 Yard 3 Flvt Race. Hawkins, 10yds 1 Simpson, syds 2 Time, 103-6 sec. Five Mile Bicycle Handicap, for Roadster machines scaling 321 b and over. W. H. Small, 40aec 1 F. Fiaßer, 76sec -2 E. Christian, 55sec 3 Surman, the well-known Auckland rider, finished fourth, a quarter of a mile behind Small. The latter's time was 14min 32sec. Surman, who started from scratch, took lomin I7fiec over the journey. I.J Mile Bicyle Handicap. , W. Pilkington, 50yds 1 James Bipsell, flOyds 2 J. E. Cowell, 70yds 3 Time, 3min 53 l-sseo. 440 Yakds Flat Handicap. Chapman, 13yds I Fraeer, 20yds 2 C. Price, 20yds 3 lime, 55 3-oßec. Two Miles Scratch Bicyclb Race. Snrman 1 Pilkington 2 Hennings 3 Time, smin 40aec. All three placed men were Auckland representatives. Riders' One Mile Bicycle Handicap. Bissell, 60yds 1 Smith, 90vds 2 Small, 93yd8 8 Time, 3min 34 l-ssec. Five Miles Teams' Race (three men aside).— The Auckland riders (Surman, Pilkington. and Hennings) finished in order, thus makin? 15 points- The Napier team were Gay, Bissell, and Cowell, who finished in that order in the rear of the Auckland riders, making only 6 points. All the riders finished very close together. Time, 14min Bsec.
