WANGANUI AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB. AUTUMN MEETING. The ansual autumn meeting of the Wanganui Amateur Athletic Club was held on the Collegiate School Gnunds on Saturday afternoon. The weather was fine, but the attendance proved anything but good, little or no interest apparently being taken in the meeting, The track was in splendid order, and the different events were well contested, but a something seemed to be wanting, as the gathering proved a very slow affair. During the afternoon refreshments, in the shape of tea, &c , were provided by Mr Krause, the well-known caterer. Mr H. Wi Pownall, the secretary, carried out his duties well, and was assisted on the day of the meeting by the other officers, following are the results:— 100 Yards Maiden, H. H. Henderson 1 F. A.
