4 [Fkom Oub Own Correspondent.] Patea, March 28. Judgment in the libel case, Dickson y. T. E. Hamerton, has been given by the District Judge in favour of defendant, with costo. A public meeting is to be heid on Friday evening at Mr Eornor's office to consider the most suitable form of a parting testimonial to Mr A. P. Webster. A meeting of the Horticultural Society is also called for sumo evening for the same purpose. Professor Halcombe will exhibit his phonograph on Friday and Saturday evenings at the Hall. As this entertainment is spokon of very highly up north we expect a large attendance.
