(Pep. Pbess Association.) Wkllinuton, March 28. The Mastetton local option poll waa ineffective. Uunhdin, March 28. The Temperance Committee is elected in bloc for Alataura, and a reduction of all classes of licenses carried, the prohibitionists polling an actual but not a threefiftlis majority. The Wakatipu returns are nofyet completed, but the local option poll is expected to be ineffective. The Dunedin and Caverslinin returns are practically unaltered. Clutha has elected tho prohibition candidates by euormous mnjoritio9 ranging from 1764 to 1701, while the moderates > polled 617 to 587,
