[Pbom Our Own Correspondent.] Patea, July 17. Another wet evening on Friday prevented a large attendance at the Debating Society, but the paper by Mr Charles Finnerty in support of " Party Government" was most interesting and instructive and couched in excellent language. &. few opponents to party Government came forward, advocating the eloction of the Ministry by direct? vote of the House.
