AUCKLAND ITEMS.
♦ [Per United Press Association,] Auckland, May 29, Mr J. R. McDonald, delegate from tho Australian Shearers' Union, is now in Auckland. He states that the Queensland shearing dispute must come off in two months' time, and pastoralists mast come to terms if the Unionists hold out so long. Mr McDonald goes throughout New Zealand to interest Trades' Unions and the public in the shearing difficulty, chiefly with a view to prevent shearers in this colony aiding pastoralists.
