THE MIDLAND RAILWAY DIFFICULTY.
♦ (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, May 28. The Railway League Executive Committee, Christchurcb, have telegraphed . the Premier that a public demonetratson is threatened if the Midland Railway deviation is hung up any longer. They ask the Premier if Government will sanction the work if the London Board approves of the agreement between Mr Wilson and the Grey County Council.
