; u TEAININU NOTES. (per united press association ) Dunedin, February 18. There wag a lot of good work done at J-ho Forbury course this morning. Der« ringer, Necklace, and Turquoise covered three rouads of the tan iv good style. i^olaon and Patrician are moving very freely, but the oraok apparently being able to do what he liked with his com" panion. Two Cup outsiders, in the half brothers Jupiter and Warbeck, were treated to two miles fast. Molly Bawn covered sis furlong 3at top apeadt Marquis was given steady work over a couple of miles, and Garibaldi did something similar, but took the juiupa all en route. Tetnuka, May Boy, and Trapper also put in some serviceable work. Lady Einnia went onca round slow, and then picked up Kubezahl, the pair finishing a couplo of miles together, the mare having nil the best of it. Taiaroa and the Rod Rose filly were sent three quarters of a mile at half speed, while Captain Webster covered two miles in very fair form. Kean's two-year-old colfc tftives was sent for a long steady canter. Goodman gave ! Apropos and the Fallacy colt a good gallop over the Champagne course.
