Mr Gillies h?.K not beau able to complete his list of names for the new Ministry to submit to bis Excellency the Governor. (Received February 13, 12 30 p.m.) Messrs iYalker, Munro, Lorimor, and Outhbert have joined the new Victorian -Ministry, and the allotment of their respective poiifolioa takea place to-day. It is considered probable ttut Messrs Harper, Quick, and Davies will also be included in the Ministry. The dissolution of Parliament will take place to-morrow, and the general elections have been fixed for the sfch of March. Mr Gillies has announced that he will issue his electoral manifesto tomorrow, (Received February 18, II p.m.) February 18; Mr Gillies has succeeded in forming a Ministry. The following is the list of new Ministers, with tlia portfolios allotted them, whioh havo been sub« mitted to his Excellenoy the Governor : — Mr Gilli9B, Preuaier, Colonial Treasurer, and Commissioner of Boads and Railways ; Mr Deakin, Colonial (Secretary; Mr Wrixon, Attorney-General; Mr Dow, Minister of Lands' and Agriculture, and Minister of Mines; Mr Pearson, Minister of Public Instruction ; Mr Nimmo, Cointniseioner of Public Works; Mr Walker, Commissioner of Trade and Customs; MrCuthbert,Miniss ter of Justice ; Mr Lorimer, Minister of Defence ; and Mr Davies, a portfolio without office. It is believed Mr Harpar is to be appointed the vacant portfolio of Postmaster-General.
