JUNO DRAMATIC COMPANY.

The largest house of the season greeted the rising of the curfcaiu last night at the Princess Theatre, the attraction being a dramatio version of Hugh Conway's far- famed work, entitled " Called Back." The majority of our readers are doubtless intimately acquain - ted with the story, but the Biuiple reading of it could not bring the various thrilling scenes so prominently before the mind's eye aa witnessing them performed by a .company so clever in all respects as the Juno Drainatio. The original and peculiarly-constructed plot lost none of its telling points in the drama, and the intense interest with which the audience followed the per* formers was sufficient evidence of the realistio way in which they played their several parts. Miss Juuo iuvested the part of Pauline with all the mystery that the authov gave to it ; while Mr O. H. Taylor brought all hia talent to bear on the character of Gilbert Vaughan. The setting of tha piec© was clever'y arranged, the scene outside the Siberian priaon, with the falling snowy being exceptionally good, Mr J. H. Nunn made a sufficiently blood-thirsty and cruel Maccari, and Mr Forbes, as Dr Oeueri, was very good, although hia last scene was a little overdone.
