We held a large and brisk sale at our yards yesterday, the late rains, no doubt, giving people confidence in purchasing. We yarded 90 rams, 340 cattle, and 1000 sheep, j The following prices were realized : — \ OATiLß.—ifat cows, £4, £4 12s 6d, and £4 16s 6d j beef (builooks), small, £5 10s j IS^months to 2-year heifers, £1 13s 6d to £2 ; 18^months steers, £2 8s ; 3to 4*year i bullocks, £4 2s 6d, £4 15a, and £4 17s 6A ; , cows with calves at foot, £2 14s to £3 Os 6d ; yearling heifers, 27a $ yearling steers, 34s ; store cow«, 35a to 15s ; 2-hyear steers, £4 ; mixed yearlings, 30a.
