COMBINED CAMP
METHODIST & PRESBYTERIAN BIBLE CLASSES. 140 CAMPERS AT SOLWAY SHOWGROUNDS. A combined Wairarapa Methodist and Presbyterian Bible Class camp is being held at Solway. The camp commenced on Thursday night and there are about 140 campers, 'ihe Rev. G. H. Goodman, camp captain, welcomed the delegates. Mrs Masters, of Wellington, is camp mother. Yesterday morning the Rev. D. W. Stprkey held a Good Friday service and in the evening Captain H. Sutcliffe, Church Army, spoke on his experiences in England. During the day study circles met. >
Today was visitors’ day and a sports programme was held this afternocnL Tonight a camp concert will be held and tomorrow delegates will attend tne Methodist and Presbyterian churches. At night there will be a camp service and the camp will break up on Monday morning when a Communion service will be held.
