SERVICE OF WITNESS
LARGE ATTENDANCE AT PARISH HALL.
There was a good attendance at the United Service of Witness held in St. Matthew’s Parish Hall, Masterton, last night. The Ven. Archdeacon E. J. Rich, presided. A scripture reading was given by Major Thorne and the Rev. A. L. Silcock led the gathering in prayer. Mrs Terry sang as a solo “The Old Rugged Cross.” The Rev. D. W. Storkey and Major Hawke spoke briefly and the service concluded with the Benediction, pronounced by Archdeacon Rich.
