BY-ELECTION IN BRITAIN
LAST MINUTE NOMINATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) LONDON. February 8. Mr Robert Goodall, a 27-year-old farm bailiff, has entered a last-minute nomination for the West Derbyshire by-election against Lord Hartington (Conservative) and Aiderman Charles White (Independent Labour). Mr Goodall announced that he is conducting an austerity campaign as an independent agricultural candidate, delivering only one election speech.
