CARTERTON
SHOW PREPARATIONS IMPROVEMENTS TO GROUNDS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The ground committee of the Wairarapa P. and A. Society, met on the Showgrounds, Carterton, yesterday, and after a general inspection decided that certain improvements to the grounds be carried out before the autumn show is held next month, lihe work has been entrusted to Mr A, E. Booth. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs R. J. Grimmer have returned home from a holiday. Mr and Mrs C. Tinsley have gone to Napier to spend a fortnight’s holiday. Mr P. L. Beere, Wairarapa Automobile Service officer, andJMrs Beere, left today for Napier, where they will spend a holiday. Mr and Mrs P. A. Cole, and their daughter. Mrs Hastie have returned to Carterton from a holiday spent at the seaside.
