The London “Daily Mail” has announced that it is completing arrangements for the publication of a transatlantic edition in New York. This will be a digest of one week’s issues assembled in magazine form, photographed on to a microfilm, flown to New York, and printed there —all within one to two days after press time in London. It adds that the experiment’s main purpose is a contribution to closer Anglo-American understanding.
