Makacre, Mahia, Wairoa tf). Previously Reported Missing—Now Reported Not Missing. MAKIRI, Haupuru, Pte. Mr S. Makiri, Horeke, Hokianga ff). Previously Reported Missing—Now Reported Safe In Base Camp. TEN AIRMEN MISSING THREE DEATHS ANNOUNCED. The names of 14 New Zealand airmen are given in a casualty list issued yesterday. With one exception all are members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Ten are missing on air operations, three are dead and one is reported to be seriously ill. The list is as follows:— GIBSON; John C. McK., Sgt., R.N.Z. A.F., missing on air operations. Mrs J. C. Gibson, 33 Sidey Street, Wellington (w). FIELD, lan M. V., Pilot Officer, R.N.Z. A.F., previously reported missing, now reclassified missing but believed killed in action. Mrs G. Field, R.M.D., Richmond (m). MORCOM, George D„ Sgt. R.N.Z.A.F., reported missing on air operations. Mrs G. D. Morcom, 38 Mackworth St., Woolston, Christchurch (w). BROWN, Ivor M., Sgt., R.A.F., reported missing. Mr D. Brown, 170 Hastings St., Christchurch (f). THOMSON, Noel E„ Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., previously reported missing, death now officially presumed by Air Ministry to have occurred in December. Mr A. D. Thomson, c/o Hannah’s Ltd., Ashburton (f). WHITE, David R„ Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., reported missing on air operations. Mr R. O. White, Maxwell, Wanganui (f). HACKETT, Frederick C., Pilot Officer, R.N.Z.A.F., killed aircraft accident. Mr A. G. Hackett, Prospect Rd., Glen Eden, Auckland (f). HOPE, Lawrence B. H., Sgt., R.N.Z. A.F., reported missing air opera-, tions. Mr P. D. Hope, French Pass, Marlborough (f). KIRKE, Frank S., Sgt., D.F.M., R.N.Z. A.F., dangerously injured as result of flying accident, admitted to hospital; subsequently transferred to seriously ill list. Mrs E.
