NATIVE SONG WINS STAKES. SPRINT TO POUTATAU. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, November 15. The Napier Park Racing Club provided its patrons with excellent racing at its second spring meeting. Close finishes were the order of the day. Nearly all the win dividends were small, but some of the place dividends ran into double figures. The totalisator handled £9933 10s, against £10,878 last year. During the two spring meetings £17,692 was put through, against £19,114 last year. The judicial committee sat after the last race to consider a protest by Mr G. W. B. Greene, owner of «Kurrawong, against the race being awarded to Ex-Pupil, on the ground that ExPupil’s rider, R. Marsh, had interfered with Kurrawong during the finish. It considered also the accusation as it concerned Marsh. The protest was dismissed and no action was taken against Marsh. Results:— Omahu Hack Hurdles, l|m.: 1/1, Native Chief, 11.8 (J.
