The Williamstown Cup meeting was held yesterday when the main events resulted as follows: — Williamstown Cup, 11m.: Throttle, 6.11 (T. Unkovitch), 1; El Golea, 8.10 (N. Creighton), 2; Tranquil Star, 8.6 (A. Breasley), 3. Twelve started. Neck; three-quarters of a length. Time,- 2.34’,. Strand Handicap, 6f.: All Veil, 9.2 (H .Badger), 1; Crojick, 9.0 (A. Breasley), 2; Kanuri, 8.2 (W. Ralph), 3. Sixteen started. Two lengths and a half; one and a half. Time, 1.12 J. ROSEHILL RESULTS CHIEF EVENT TO JOHN DORY. A WIN FOR DEWAR. SYDNEY, November 16. The principal events at the Rosehill meeting yesterday resulted as follows: — Clyde Handicap, 7f.: Dewar, 7.12 (J. Thompson), 1; Winnipeg, 10.0 (D. Munro), and Rodrigo, 7.0 (Gollogly), dead-heat for second. Ten started. Three lengths; dead-heat for second. Time, 1.251. November Handicap, L’m.: John Dory, 9.13 (Gollogly), 1; Mustapha, 7.6 (J. Thompson), 2; Cable Boy, 8.0 (Wilson), 3. Four started. Short head; two lengths and a half. Time, 2.12. Punarua ran third in the hurdle race.
