The weather was fine and there was a large attendance for the final day of the Canterbury Jockey Club's spring meeting. The track was hard. The totalisator handled £87,949 10s compared with £83,415 10s on the final day last year. For the meeting £263,720 was handled against £253,204 last year, an increase of £10,516.
