DISTRICT LAMB COMPETITION
INCREASE IN ENTRIES. JUDGING AT WAINGAWA TOMORROW. Entries in the Wairarapa district lamb competition closed in Masterton on Saturday. Forty pens were entered against 23 pens last year. The competition will be held at the Waingawa Freezing Works tomorrow. The lambs are to be penned by 9 o'clock and will be judged at 10 o’clock in the pens and later on the hooks" Sir William Perry will demonstrate on some Southdown rams for the benefit of members of the Young Farmers' Club and the Wairarapa College agricultural class. Those present, will be entertained by Messrs Thomas Borthwick and Sons, Ltd.
