HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
SPRING FLOWER SHOW. TO BE HELD NEXT WEDNESDAY. All who intend visiting the Horticultural Society’s show at the Municipal Hall, Masterton, next Wednesday may look forward to a display surpassing all previous efforts by the Society. ( Many new and novel classes have been introduced, including a section for competition amongst Women’s Institutes and Garden Circles. This should in itself occupy an extensive area, and provide a panorama of floral beauty. The price of admission, afternoon or evening, will be Is and afternoon tea will be available. Entries will close with the secretary, Mr E. K. Eastwood (telephone 1077), at noon on Tuesday, November 18, except in the sketching section, entries for which will close on Monday, November 17.
