CHURCH SERVICES

The Presbyterian Church services tomorrow will be taken by the Right Rev. J. Davie. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m., and at Taueru at 9.4 S a.m. The special intercession service for those on active service will be held at St. Matthew’s Church at 7 p.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher both in the morning and evening. Afternoon services will be held at Rangitumau and Kopuaranga. Mr N. W. Ninnes will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. Captain and Mrs Ojala, of Carterton, will conduct the young people’s anniversary services at the Salvation Army Citadel on Sunday, In the afternoon, at 3 o’clock, the children of the Primary School will contribute a programme of songs and recitations. The services of the Associated Churches (Baptist-Church of Christ) tomorrow will be conducted by Stud-ent-Pastor A. R. Jamieson. At the morning service communion will be held. The morning service at the Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. H. S. Kings. The subject will be “The Divine Imperative.” Mr F. G. Rutter will preach in the evening. There will be an afternoon service at Mt. Bruce. The choir will visit the Hospital at 4 p.m. Mr Kings will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be observed at Kuripuni.
