CRIPPLED CHILDREN
WAIRARAPA EXECUTIVE MEETS. NEW CASES REGISTERED. Progress reports on the placement of several crippled children in employment were considered at a meeting of the executive of the Wairarapa branch of the New Zealand Crippled Children Society held last evening; It was reported that a girl had obtained a position in a factory where she was making satisfactory progress. Enquiries were being pursued regarding positions for two boys in Wellington. There was a possibility of suitable tuition being provided for another boy to learn boot repairing. A letter of thanks was received from the parents of a boy for whom the society had provided clothing. Two new cases were registered. The annual meeting of the Wairarapa branch will be held on Thursday. May 23. at 7.30 p.m.. in the offices of Messrs Dundcrdale and Gray. Perry Street.
