SHEEP DOG TRIALS
EVENTS AT ALFREDTON EXCELLENT NUMBER OF ENTRIES. HIGH STANDARD SHOWN BY DOGS. ("Times-Age” Special.) The Alfredton Sheep Dog Trial Club held their first annual trials on Mrs. Didsbury’s property at Alfredton on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday last. The entries were particularly good —.67 dogs competing in the huntaway class alone. Mr C. S. Hay was judge, and in commenting- on the trials, he said the course was an excellent one and a good test in every way and that the work of the dogs had reached a very high standard.
