TIPS FROM PARIS. If your outfit is in two colours —say, a tan jacket and black frock —make-up to the predominating shade. In this case, the tan will outweigh the black in your scheme. Glittering evening frocks are shown everywhere, and glitter sequin hair ornaments will flash at the dance. Add a touch of gold or silver eyeshadow to your make-up—it is not a bit startling and completes the effect beautifully. Beware of orangey powder or rouge when wearing any of the new wines and reds. Use light, delicate powders, and you’ll find port wine and kindred shades are flattering instead of unkind.
