Volunteering.
The Greytown Rifle Volunteers mustered for inspection parade on Saturday night, and Captain Cameron, in tbe unavoidable absence of Major Bunny, acted as the inspecting officer; Limits Porritt and Johnston were present, and Lieut Johnston put the company through some new movements at great length. Three new members were proposed and elected, one of them being an old Greytown volunteer one of the Parihaka’contingent. The corps will be inspected again on Tuesday fortnight.
