To the Editor of the Standard.
Sib,— ln your report of the (extra)ordiuary monthly meeting of tbe Qreytown School Committee, the Chairman is reported to have spoken of myself (vide report) in a very disparaging manner. I beg to say that his statements are a fiction of hia own invention, and having no foundation in fact, is simply beneath contempt. Sir, I would not trouble you with this infliction upon your space, but it is the only means afforded me of public reply to an erroneous statement. 1 am, <So., C. W.
